 is also provided for families. \nFor each workshop attended\, participants
  will earn a gift card!\n\n\nDuring this workshop\, you will embark on a j
 ourney together to investigate poverty and identify ways of ending the cyc
 le of poverty\, both in your own lives and communities. \n\nIn this worksh
 op\, participants examine their own personal experiences in poverty as wel
 l as explore the issues in their community that impact poverty. Participan
 ts learn to build resources and maneuver the economic classes. They compar
 e the 'hidden rules' or expectations of the economic classes\, explore the
  importance of language and how it's said\, and self-assessment of the res
 ources that lead to a better quality of life. Along the way\, participants
  learn to write their future stories and the planning needed to make those
  goals a reality.
