2019 TAX FILING ASSISTANCE
Tri County Community Action is once again proud to partner with United Way of the Capital Region to provide tax filling assistance to the community.
Money in Your Pocket (MIYP)
The Money in Your Pocket (MIYP) campaign is a community collaboration of organizations led by United Way of the capital Region that is committed to the economic stability of local families. Volunteers prepare computerized, electronic returns through the Internal Revenue Service's Volunteer Tax Income Assistance (VITA) program, which is designed to provide low-to-moderate income working families with help completing federal and state returns along with obtaining credits for which they are eligible.
Every Tuesday beginning January 28th - April 15, 2020, individuals and families who make $56,000 or less are eligible to have their taxes prepared for free by trained volunteers, at our Derry Street location, 1514 Derry Street, Harrisburg.
