During this workshop, you will embark on a journey together to investigate poverty and identify ways of ending the cycle of poverty, both in your own lives and communities.
In this workshop, participants examine their own personal experiences in poverty as well as explore the issues in their community that impact poverty. Participants learn to build resources and maneuver the economic classes. They compare the "hidden rules" or expectations of the economic classes, explore the importance of language and how it's said, and self-assessment of the resources that lead to a better quality of life. Along the way, participants learn to write their future stories and the planning needed to make those goals a reality.
