Learn about our Shippensburg Team
One of our five locations is in Shippensburg, PA. We have three amazing team members within Katie’s Place, a hub for community resources. Katie’s Place houses, Tri County Community Action, a thrift store, food bank, and other community service agencies.
Kory Arnold is a Self-Sufficiency Coordinator for Cumberland County. Kory provides a variety of services related to employment, education, and financial empowerment. He offers case management for residents who are struggling financially. Case management can help you with a variety of subjects, including career preparation, budgeting, goal setting, completing social service applications, and more!
Nichoal Hill is a Family Development Coordinator who helps to support families with young children through the Parents as Teachers program. She works with families to ensure their children are set up for success when they enter kindergarten. She also helps to prepare events like Group Connections and Parent Cafes to help families with young children to connect with each other in Cumberland County.
Autumn Karper is our Self-Sufficiency Manager who works alongside Kory and Nichoal. She supports our Employment, Education, and Financial Empowerment team, as well as providing case management for residents who are struggling financially. She also played an important role in organizing the Annual Better Together Festival, a celebration in Shippensburg which allows community members to connect with social service providers.
We appreciate the impact that all our team members have in our three-county footprint and are proud to have such a wide reach within the Shippensburg area. If you are in Cumberland County and are facing some obstacles, reach out to us to see what we can do for you!
