Whatever your goals: better employment, job training, stable housing, budgeting, or even renting or buying a home, we are here to help!
Through our Self-Sufficiency Program, you are paired with case managers who will help to set goals, identify challenges, and map a course to success, all while focusing on strengths and skill building along the way. Once needs are assessed and goals are set, you will receive an individualized action plan focused on strengths you already have, and then will be connected to community resources and supports to achieve self-sufficiency and, ultimately, graduate from the program with long-term success.
Bridges 4 Life is a community or school-based program for 15-21 year olds, who are making the transition from teenage years to adulthood. Our Youth Engagement Specialists provide weekly life skills and coaching, and help each young adult enrolled recognize their own potential, and develop a plan for life long success.
Our Self-Sufficiency Case Managers offer both individual and group budgeting education. We’ll show you more than just how to balance your budget, we’ll show you how to keep it that way and achieve financial success.
Need help seeing the path but don’t want to enroll in long-term case management? Getting Ahead in a Just Gettin' by World is a 12-week course that helps individuals in poverty build their resources for a more prosperous life for themselves, their families, and their communities.
Our Getting Ahead in the Workplace is a class that can be hosted by employers, designed to help employees become more successful in the job they have, and more employable in any job in the future.

In addition to case management programming, we also provide supportive services to select housing locations throughout Cumberland, Dauphin, and Perry County. Our on-site staff work to promote a positive relationship between clients and providers, provide life skills programming for all residents, and connect individuals and families to community resources. As a complement to our Self-Sufficiency Case Management programming which is available for up to 5 years, we also offer a number of ways to grow, learn, and succeed. These programs are available, free of charge, to all income-qualified participants.
We, in cooperation with Dauphin County, have launched a van program for Northern Dauphin County. This program provides rides to people aged 18 - 59 who have no other transportation, and takes them to non-emergency medical appointments, to and from work, or to get groceries.
