Updated March, 17 2020: Because of Governor Wolf's order to close all non-essential business due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) concerns, effective March 17th and until further notice, all TCCA offices will be closed and members of our staff will be working remotely. We are cancelling or postponing our group educational workshops/programs and person to person contacts with individual clients. All community group and stakeholder meetings will either be postponed or moved to a virtual platform as well.
Helping People and Changing Lives. It’s what we do. However, in light of concerns regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and out of an abundance of caution for our clients, friends, community partners, and staff, Tri County Community Action will be instituting certain programmatic and administrative restrictions to help keep everyone healthy and safe.
By design, many of our programs and services require close person to person contact for periods of time at various locations including in our offices, in peoples’ private homes, and at other community resource locations.
However, many of the individuals and families that we work with are considered “at-risk” or “vulnerable” for the Coronavirus, and based off of the recommendations from the CDC and government officials for “social distancing”, we are making some changes to how we deliver programming and services for at least the next several weeks.
Most noticeable will be effective March 16th and until further notice, all TCCA offices will be closed to the public. We are cancelling or postponing our group educational workshops/programs and person to person contacts with individual clients. This means that we will not be conducting any home or community visits, and will not be able to accept any walk-in clients to any of our offices. Where possible, programming will be provided virtually (over the phone, through email, or video conferencing), and all community group and stakeholder meetings will either be postponed or moved to a virtual platform as well.
During this public health crisis, our entire staff will be available by phone and email for all of your Tri County Community Action needs. You can connect with any of our staff members by:

We encourage everyone to follow the recommendations and guidance from our government officials and the CDC, and apologize for gaps in services that may result from these changes. As you know, this public health crisis continues to evolve, but we’ll do our best to continue to Help People and Change Lives while limiting exposure and potential spread of the Coronavirus.
In addition to the above contact information, you are also welcome to connect with Jen Wintermyer, our Executive Director, by email jwintermyer@cactricounty.org or by phone at 717-232-9757, extension 103.
